So we decided to do a blog for Q2 and keep all our students/parents and everyone else updated on everything thats happening, everything fun, funny and things not so important as well, like my doggie and Q2 mascot Benson! TERM 2 - NEW PRICING PACKAGES/SINGING CLASSES/TIMETABLE
The easter holidays have nearly come to an end!!
We are going back to normal classes on the 27th ( a Wednesday because of public holidays).
Term 2 is starting off with a few changes. Including: singing classes and new pricing/fees scheme and some additions to the timetable.
SINGING CLASSES
We are very excited to start offering singing classes to our students. To give our already talented kids another talent to add to their growing repertoires!!
The classes will be taught by Monique. Who has worked in Russia, Asia,Mediterranean and Europe.

Not only can this talented lady sing in English but she can also sing in Japanese, Italian,French and Arabic!!..
Geez!!! Il be happy to just be able to hold on to a tune!
Singing classes have to be booked, mainly because most of the classes will be private one on ones. You can either do them in half hour booking or one hour. The option to do it groups is also available. But there needs to be a min of 4 of you to do a group one hour booking!... So just grab 3 of your friends!

HIP HOP INTERNATIONAL COMP
My amazing beautiful talented performance group made up of Luella, Jordan, Ali, Mya and Isabel competed in the Hip Hop International competition on Friday.
It was a looooong day, starting at 2pm and going till nearly midnight.
They practised all day and were so perfect on stage. They didn't miss a beat or a move!I was so impressed and from the sound of the audience, so were they.
The most amazing thing is, these 5 girls, who look so tiny on stage and so cute in their outfits, can totally get down with the best of them!
I love seeing the faces of the audience, the total surprise when they start dancing because it is so unexpected!!
Their talent, dedication and determination never fails to bring butterflies in my stomach and a little tear in my eye!
I am so proud of my girls!

PERFORMANCE AT EASTER SHOW
Our Youth performance did a show at the Family Easter Show at the EQ!!!
It was a bit stressful cos even tho we gave ourselves an hour to get there from rehearsals at the studio, we didnt count on the traffic due to the Doggy V St George game....
Which meant there was an almighty rush and a lot of stress on my part as I waited at the stage for everyone to make it.
We were suppose to be on at 215 and at 210 there was only 3 girls with me....we were missing 2!!!!
At 2.14 they turned up!!!... and we went on, on time at 2.15!!..now thats what we call professional!
They did a great show, as always!
To quote the organiser:
" Your group was so amazing! And theres only 5 of them and they can all dance! Sometimes we get groups of 50 and none of them can dance"
Im going to leave you with that piece of gold!!!

NEW WEBSITE
I was having problems with my last website so I thought I will take the opportunity to re do the whole website!
After a couple of false starts, I spent a full day last thursday (8am - 5pm) with a half hour break and no food, to create our new flash website from scratch!
With the old site, I used Dreamweaver, with the new site I used WIX.COM. The advantage of Dreamweaver was you got to do more specific things like tables and it was free, however, Wix is just so much more fun. Mainly cos using Flash images is SO easy to use with Wix!
The only bad thing is because it is now a Flash website you can no longer view it on an Iphone.....GEEZ I really wish Adobe and Apple would sort their issues out!!
But I really like the new website, its fun and more interactive and once I got used to the program it was very easy to use!!
